    We offer gypsum suitable for agriculture, civil and industrial applications.

    These tailored high analysis products are available in;

    The mined gypsum range consists of:
    – ProGYP gypsum – sub 4mm screened natural gypsum ex Brisbane (Adouble loading friendly)
    – Cal-S4 Gypsum – sub 4mm screened natural gypsum ex Port (loading upto B-doubles)
    – ProCal-S2 Gypsum – sub 2mm milled and screened natural gypsum ex Brisbane (Adouble loading friendly)
    – SuperFlocc – ultrafine grade milled natural gypsum (solution grade)

    Pacific Fertiliser is working on some new granular product blends for deep placement in the soil profile.

    The blends include:

    • Deep placement soil conditioner products – using granular soil amendment products like gypsum, lime, dolomite and manure to correct specific sub soil constraints
    • Deep placement fertiliser products – using granular fertiliser products like phosphates, potassium and sulphur
    • Deep placement fertiliser blends using products such as fertilisers, minerals, manure and biology to provide a sustainable fertiliser blend for one pass applications

    Pacific Fertiliser has purchased specialised Fertiliser blending equipment from the USA.

    Our aim is to offer bespoke blending services to customers for their tailored paddock blends (one-pass blends). These fertiliser blending systems will be available in regional areas where we can load our customers trucks, spreaders and groupers.

    In Addition to blending services for normal fertiliser products, we will also be able to offer blends on organic products & trace elements . The systems can also add biology and inhibitors to the fertiliser blends.

    Seed coating treatment is also possible using the blenders, such as Ferticote etc if/when required.

    At Pacific Fertilisers we pride ourselves on providing the best quality fertiliser to suit individual crop requirements.

    Using a soil analysis and or crop recommendation we can formulate a bespoke fertiliser blend using both Macro and Micro nutrients to help achieve the best possible yield and quality in any crop.

    This can then be blended and packaged ready for delivery. A very cost effective and environmentally friendly way of supplying crop needs without supplying excess nutrients to the crop.

    New ProCal-S2 Gypsum

    Pacific Fertiliser has been working on some new fine high analysis natural mineral products. We have recently released some new high performance gypsum products suitable for the agricultural and civil industries.

    These gypsum products have a finer mean particle size than the standard screen products we currently sell as Mine3 and Mine6, providing a faster response.

    ProCal-S2 gypsum (mine2) is a fine grade gypsum product suitable for horticulture and aquaculture. It has a mean particle size of 500um making it very soluble. We also use this product to produce our air-seeder grade and aerial grade granular products.

    Cal-S3 gypsum (mine3) is a fine grade gypsum product suitable for agriculture and civil industries. It has a mean particle size of 750um making it a cost effective product for agricultural applications requiring fine grade gypsum.

    Cal-S4 gypsum (Mine4) is a fine grade gypsum product suitable for agriculture and civil industries. It has a mean particle size of 850um making it a cost effective product for agricultural applications requiring fine grade gypsum.

    Superflocc gypsum – an ultra-fine gypsum product suitable for flocculation and  fertigation applications.

    Global Urea prices are also on the rise with European gas prices.

    With timing critical for the majority of urea applications, don’t leave your decision to secure your volumes too late.

    A Stormy Start to 2022.

    Lets hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.  However with the storms come positives such as higher sub soil moisture levels.  Given the good moisture levels we should see another good start to the winter sowing season provided weeds are under control.

    With prices still strong for livestock & grains then the outlook for the year is favourable.  Summer crops are booming and in northern NSW & southern Qld they aren’t far away from harvest.  Let hope the summer crop harvest goes more smoothly than the winter crop harvest.

     

    Fertiliser Update

    Fertiliser pricing in the first quarter could see phosphate fertilisers including AP’s remain firm, with cost increases, production and supply issues.

    The Urea price has softened a little over the last two weeks, with talk the SOA price may follow suit, however production and shipping costs remain high.

    With Domestic stock levels low coming into the Winter sowing window, it is best to move quickly on your requirements out to Apr/May. Pacific Fertiliser has fertiliser stock at most eastern Ports. Including MAP, DAP, Urea, SSP, DSP, however these products are all in short supply and selling fast.

    Like all commodity prices we are playing in a global market and things can change daily.

     

    Lime / Gypsum / Dolomite

    For those getting ready for Winter grains, Pacific Fertiliser refines & supplies high analysis Ag Mineral products like bulk ag lime, gypsum and dolomite throughout the eastern states. Supply on these products will tighten as we approach April, so its best to get your orders booked in early.

    All of our minerals products can be supplied in powder, granular form and in blends.

    With fertiliser prices remaining high, gypsum will be a great option for canola growers with its 16-17% sulphur content. Other alternative uses for gypsum will be in products such as 70/30 blends of soft rock phosphate and gypsum to provide a long term Single Super replacement.

    Sydney Gypsum Supply Changes 2022.

    With REGYP moving the majority of their NSW recycled gypsum sales from Kurnell in Sydney closer to the majority of their western customers at Cowra, all gypsum will now be shipped into the Sydney area.

    Pacific Fertiliser has trucks running into Sydney daily to continue supply of both natural gypsum and recycled gypsum into the greater Sydney area for agricultural, civil and industrial applications.
