Most growers are in for a wet finish.

On the fertiliser price forecast there isn’t too much good news either, as prices continue to rise and supply tightens.

Energy and shipping cost increases, coupled with a lack of supply are keeping fertiliser prices at historical highs.

If you are looking for your 2022 winter crop fertiliser options, you should start considering your options and procurement timing. Securing volume and pricing for next year is providing headaches for the whole supply chain.

Due to the increased fertiliser prices, we are seeing a lot of customers looking for alternative products and blends to maximise yields without putting too much strain on the budget.

Pacific Fertiliser can provide straight fertilisers, tailored fertiliser blends (granular or powder) with additives including trace elements, carbon, humates, manures and liquid additives such as biology, wetting agents and other chemicals.

Pacific Fertiliser has volumes of straight fertiliser products available now and for next season from most eastern ports. Please contact us for pricing and availability.

Fertiliser Outlook:

At this stage it’s hard to predict pricing for next year, but with supply looking very tight for the majority of products used in Australia, prices will remain firm.

We see the biggest issue being whether next seasons required volumes will be covered with the current global product and supply constraints.
