Recent rain has shifted the sentiment of many on the east coast, but prices for a lot of commodities remain unstable.

Given the effect of continued bombing in the middle east, many analysts are nervous on diesel, energy and fertiliser pricing from August onwards.

Domestic urea fertiliser pricing is very soft given the slower start for a lot of growers. The drier conditions in the North had reduced the initial forecasted demand for urea. It feels like we could be close to the bottom and the change in moisture levels could lead to a larger domestic requirement and potential larger buying at these lower levels.

Phosphates (MAP/DAP) have slowly climbed domestically since the start of the conflict. Phosphate supply remains very tight.

Potassium products remain fairly flat.
