When the low analysis Single Super Phosphate becomes expensive and in short supply, what are the alternatives?
Do you lean towards alternative phosphate sources like guano or soft rock phosphate or can you look at other fertiliser products such as MAP, DAP and blends? Or do you run with applying both manufactured Phosphorous and organic Phosphorous to provide reduce inputs costs and provide a fast and slow release of Phosphorous.
A few reasons we looked at MAP for our customers is it is a high analysis fertiliser, it has the added benefit of a little bit of nitrogen and it is currently available in the country.
