Coated Urea
Pacific Fertiliser sells a Carbon Coated Urea product (or black coated urea). The urea coating, is a combination of organic carbon and other biological stimulants that increase the microbial activity around the granule increasing fertiliser use efficiency. The coating secures nitrogen within the soil and reduces volatilization and leaching by up to 30% over standard urea. The coated urea product has the added benefit of carbon for cell structure which increases energy, water and nutrient holing capacity. The coating is an organic complex specifically manufactured to contain a unique ratio of oxidative functional groups and cofactors of biological oxidation. Stabilising and binding technologies are employed to ensure coating integrity and reaction timing.

Pacific Fertiliser Bundaberg Gypsum
Pacific Fertiliser is looking to ship natural gypsum into the Port of Bundaberg via barges.
A gypsum stockpile in Bundaberg, should enable PacFert to sell a lower cost gypsum into the area, but the main reason is to grow the sales area further north.
Currently we sell our gypsum and minerals products as far as Rockhampton/Yeppon from Brisbane, but landing bulk deliveries of gypsum into Bundaberg, will enable us to competitively deliver gypsum as far north as Mackay.
In parrallel with the gypsum shipments into Bundaberg, Pacific Fertilisers will expand its operations into the Burnett area to offer a site similar to Brisbane for processing and blending agricultural minerals and fertilisers.
A Bundaberg operation will allow us to refine, blend, deliver and spread products locally, specifically for the customers needs in the area. Offering a one pass solution.

Chilean Nitrate
Chilean Nitrate (NaNO3), also known as Natural Nitrate of Soda (NNS), is a mined product from a desert in Northern Chile, which is the only known deposit of this mineral salt in the world. NNS is considered soluble and can have around N 15-16%. NNS is commonly on organic farms as a form of nitrogen that is available to plants in cold soils. The microbial activity needed to mineralize natural organic nitrogen (protein) is suppressed during those times of the year when the soil is cold.
The sodium (Na) content of sodic soils and the NNS product makes it incompatible for arid and semiarid regions. It contains 24 percent Na. Na, in small quantities, does not cause damage to the soil ecosystem. Plants can use this element, and it is an essential nutrient for most animals and other organisms. The nitrate is used directly by the plant and does not need to be biologically processed. However, microorganisms will also use this source of nitrogen for the production of protein and amino acids. Applying NNS along with an organic amendment (such as cocoa meal, peanut meal or compost) will increase the efficiency of both products. NNS should not be relied upon as a sole source of N.

Crop King 55 Fertiliser (14-15-13-1) is a great all round fertiliser.
A NPKS fertiliser blend, containing mainly potassium as muriate of potash (MOP). Other blends are available on MOP or SOP.
Mainly used in tree crops, pulse crops and also used as a planting fertiliser in some vegetable and forage crops on alluvial soils with a high phosphorus status.
It is also used for turf crops, such as couch turf fertiliser and other summer-growing lawns and playing fields.

Gypsum Shipments
We have received the latest shipment of gypsum.
Whilst Pacific Fertiliser continues to import high quality bulk gypsum products from other states and overseas, it is also exploring gypsum resources in NSW & QLD to satisfy the market.
Pacific Fertiliser generally holds the following stockpiles:
– 20,000 tonne of natural gypsum in stock in Brisbane;
– 10,000 tonne of natural gypsum in Sydney;
– 10,000 tonne of natural gypsum in Melbourne;
– We hold minimal stock in Cowra NSW and Bundaberg QLD.
