TRIPLE SUPER FERTILISER

Triple Superphosphate (TSP) is a low cost source of phosphorus and is the main substitute for Single Superphosphate in cropping blends. It is a good source of phosphorus in situations where no nitrogen is required, for example, good fallow after clover dominant pasture. It is offer benefits to horticultural blends to increase phosphorus content needs.

Other options to TSP as the high analysis phosphate fertilisers are TriplePlus (sulphur coated TSPS) products (0-18-0-10) and our Double Super Phosphate range from (0-16-0-5) with options of various blended ratios of sulfur bentonite ratios available. Another TriplePlus alternative is PacFert Pasture Blend (5-18-0-10).

TSP does store and flow  through all types of equipment extremely well. TSP flows significantly quicker than other fertilisers, approximately 15 to 20% faster so take extra care when calibrating before sowing.

Spreading rates for Triple Super vary greatly, but it is not recommended to be spread at rates of over 500 kg/ha. A general equivalent to 125kg/ha Single Super Phosphate applications would be 53kg/ha. Actual spreading rates will vary according to farm type, climate, productivity and soil type.
